Patriots destroy Jets, 45-3
The New England Patriots turned their showdown with the New York Jets into a rout with a 45-3 victory.
Quarterback Tom Brady threw for 326 yards and four touchdowns, carving up the Jets’ highly rated defense.
Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, the “Law Firm”, finished with 72 yards and two touchdowns.
The defense joined the party as well, intercepting quarterback Mark Sanchez three times and giving up just over 300 yards of total offense.
The win puts New England in the driver’s seat in the AFC East and for homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.
