Belichick doesn’t like kickoff changes
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick doesn’t like the proposed changes on kickoffs.
The ball would be kicked off from the 35-yard line instead of the 30-yard line and touchbacks would come out to the 25-yard line.
Belichick said that kickoffs are one of the most exciting parts of the game and the rules shouldn’t be changed.
The NFL is considering the rule changes as just another way to make the game safer for the players.
Belichick understands that aspect, but doesn’t believe that a lot of head injuries occur on kickoffs.
