Patriots roll past Jets, 37-16
The New England Patriots overcame a sluggish first half to roll past the division rival New York Jets, 37-16.
The win completed a season sweep of the Patriots and put them back in full control of the AFC East, which was suddenly up for grabs.
Quarterback Tom Brady overcame a poor first half and seemed to figure out the Jets defense in the final two quarters.
The offense was lead by tight end Rob Gronkowski, who had a huge day running routes down the middle of the New York defense.
Thanks to the victory, the Patriots remain right in the thick of things for homefield advantage throughout the postseason.
